Petinos Hotel

We made our entire stay at the Petinos Hotel (Platys Gialos Beach, PO BOX 116, 84600, Mykonos, Greece).

It is a great hotel on the Aegean Sea (Platis Gialos beach). A beautiful setting, colors that put you directly in the Greek atmosphere, a super friendly staff, a beautiful pool.

Petinos is separated in two hotels (Petinos and Petinos Beach), they have a slightly different standing. Petinos Beach also has a swimming pool, with a view on the sea, and accessible for the residents of Petinos (at least during the off season, maybe in summer they make more control). The Blue Myth restaurant (see the article about it) is the restaurant owned by both hotels.

I recommend this hotel, it's great and is only 10min drive from the airport, shuttle to and from the airport can be arranged by the hotel.

It is also 10min away from Mykonos Town. We took cabs when we went to town (the hotel can call cabs), the rides are between 10 and 15 euros. Apparently there are also buses that cross the island and that can transport you. But I almost didn't see any, either because we were there out of season, or because there are not many of them per day.

If you stay several days on the island and you are going to move a lot, I advise you to rent a car, it is easier, but I am not sure if the hotel has a parking lot.
