For our first night on the island, we stopped near Porto-Vecchio, in the bay of St-Cyprien to spend a special night. Via Airbnb we decided to take a night on a boat.

The principle is of course to leave the car on a (free) car park near the beach. Then the hosts come and pick you up with a small canoe and take you to the boat and explain the principle of the boat.

This experience is unique because you find yourself alone on a boat (moored a little further than the port). At the end of the day, we decided to buy some sandwiches and salads, but it is also possible to have a little something to eat (but you will still have to buy the necessary things before getting on the boat).

You can also enjoy swimming and watching the sunset.

Then comes the time to go to bed, it is however, very special because it rocks (it is better not to do this activity if you get seasick). Apart from the humidity, we were lucky with the weather and had a good night.

Hôtel Padolo

On Bonifacio, we stayed at the Hotel Padolo. It's a bit outside the city but is really not far by car (about 10 minutes). It's worth it, however, because the setting is very nice and quiet.

Hôtel Beach

In Propriano, we chose this hotel next to the sea and the beach. Unfortunately we didn't have a sea view but otherwise the hotel was not bad. The beach is very nice and there are also some nice little restaurants.

Hôtel Albion

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all, it's really awful. The hallways stink and are awful. The bathroom is old and not at all welcoming. As for the bedroom, the bed is a sofa bed, luckily it wasn't too dirty. I did, however, see some stains on the edge of the sheets.

Hôtel Vanina Park

Oh we were afraid to go to our next hotel because of our experience in Ajaccio, especially seeing the name of the address.

But in the end it was ok, the room is quite small, especially the bathroom but the main thing is that it is clean.

Hôtel La Santa

This hotel is very nice, nice decoration as well as location. The rooms are quite small but they are nice. The decoration is good and it looks new.

Hôtel les Arbousiers

This hotel was fine for one night but the room is quite small. We were also a bit disappointed because they showed the pictures of the renovated rooms on the website and we came across a slightly old-fashioned room.
