We were only on the island for a few days and took the opportunity to eat Greek specialties. In Greece, you have a lot of dishes based on meat or seafood.
Petinos Hotels, Platis Gialos, Greece
On the first evening, we went to eat in the hotel restaurant, as we did not want to visit the island but rather relax and enjoy the surroundings of our hotel which was already beautiful. As soon as we arrived, we were already in the Greek atmosphere and we were looking forward to the rest of our stay.
This restaurant is open for both hotels (Petinos & Petinos Beach). I think, however, it is also accessible to people who are not in one of these two hotels, at least at noon and in the evening. This restaurant is close to the beach so if you are sitting on the terrace you have a view of the sea.
That evening, we had dinner there, and chose the Chicken Souvlaki from the menu. This dish is one of the Greek specialties, it's made with chicken grilled on the grill and often accompanied by French fries, pita bread and sometimes tzatziki.
In this case, on their menu, this grilled chicken was served to us in a skewer format with some vegetables and fries. It's a meal, very simple, but very good.

We ate there several times because we had the breakfast included in our reservation. In the morning, if the wind was not too strong, we took the opportunity to eat on the terrace in the sun with a view on the sea.

This restaurant also has a bar. So often in the evening, after having eaten in town or elsewhere, we would return to the hotel to enjoy a little drink.
Old Port, Akti Kampani, Mikonos 846 00, Greece
The second night, we decided to eat in Mykonos town and found a restaurant on the Old Port. There, you will find several restaurants next to each other by the sea.
We chose this one randomly but were not disappointed. The meat was very good and the waiters very friendly.
Alefkandra Sq., Mykonos Chora, 846 00
The Nice n Easy is located on the seafront, in the "Little Venice" area of Mykonos town. It is a neighborhood that is one of the things to see in Mykonos. And honestly, if you are looking for a spot by the sea to see the sunset, this is perfect.
We had a Gyros which is also part of the Greek specialties. Gyros is a derivative of kebab made of meat, tzatziki sauce, all served with pita bread. It can also be served in pita bread with for example tomatoes and onions on the side. It was very good.
Glastros, Mykonos
Obati is an Italian restaurant but also serves some Greek specialties, there is a little bit of everything. It was good but not the best we ate at all this week. The decoration of the restaurant is not at all in the Greek atmosphere, but it's super nice.

Old port, next to Archaeological museum, Mikonos 846 00, Grèce
With the wind and the cold, we didn't stay there so I can't recommend the quality of their food and drinks. There is however a beautiful view on the sea and on the Old Port. We arrived a little bit later but I think this place can also be a great spot for the sunset.
