We arrived Thursday evening so that we could fully enjoy Friday and the weekend.

For our first day, we have visited a lot. You have to know that Berlin is a huge city and if you are not planning your days before going there, it is hard to visit whatever you want. This city is however very well served by the public transports and as well as bikes.

We had such a beautiful weather so we walked a lot. You’ll also visit more that way.

We started the day with two restaurants that you’ll find in this article.

Bike tour

After that, we rented bikes with a guide and participated to the tour « Arm aber Sexy » which means that the city can be poor but still sexy.

It lasts around 3 hours and you’ll be taken along the city as well as in some less touristic quarters. if you are not into history, this is not the tour to choose, because it is interesting but sometimes the explanation were way to long. I saw that in the same bike rental there is a tour called « Berlin’s Best », I think that it could be better, but I can’t assure you because I didn’t made it.

The rest of the day was calm because we walked a lot and rode bikes for 3 hours so we decided to rest.

Saturday 6 October 2018

Saturday was our most touristic day, we have visited some monuments from Berlin such as :

Memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe

We didn’t visit the museum because it wasn’t in our program. I only have some little memories from it but I remember that when I visited it during my school trip it was sad.

So we just made some pictures in the memorial as good tourist as we are.

Brandenburg Gate

Continuing our way by walk, (you will walk a lot in this town, but it is well sometimes) we headed up to the Brandenburg Gate.

Kurfürstendamm

And ended our way on Kurfürstendamm. It is the Berlin’s Champs Elysées but it is less nice haha.

Alexanderplatz

For the rest of the day, we wanted to do some shopping so we arrived on Alexanderplatz because there is a lot of stores and also a mall called Alexa.

That city made us walk so much that we were tired, so we didn’t shop that much.

In the evening, we were invited at Berliner’s home, Bérangère’s friends ! Really nice evening, we laughed a lot ! We also decided to go out after that. We ended up in a little nightclub, it was very funny because it was 90’s musics, if it would have been in french it would have been crazy but in german … hahah !

Sunday 5 October 2018

Sunday was our last day in Berlin, we didn’t do a lot because we had to go at 12 o’clock at the airport. Friday morning, we decided to reserve a table in a restaurant for a brunch on Sunday morning but of course we were to tired because we went out on Saturday evening and we had to cancel. Oops next time maybe.
